Recycled Concrete Products

50-30

At Recycled Concrete Products, we love concrete of all shapes and sizes. That’s why one of our flagship products is an aggregate mix of 50-30. It’s slightly finer than our 70-50 mix, yet plenty coarse enough to handle a range of applications.

Here’s here you take home a few huge benefits when you invest in a quality recycled 50-30 aggregate like the one delivered here at Recycled Concrete Products in Central Coast and Newcastle.

But first, what’s 50-30 mix?

Our 50-30 aggregate is a mixture of various recycled concrete products. To make it, we accept only the best concrete and sift through the lesser quality stuff to be discarded. After we’ve gathered the best quality concrete pieces, we take our state-of-the-art equipment and crush it up into different sized mixes; from 70-50 all the way down to crushed dust and slab fill.

What can 50-30 be used for?

Part of the reason why we love a 50-30 aggregate so much is because it’s so versatile. Some of its popular uses include:

Backfilling retaining walls

Need some extra weight behind that retaining wall? 50-30 can be used as a back-filler to add weight and improve structural stability to certain retaining walls.

Mattress rock

Our 50-30 recycled aggregate can be filled into cages made from heavily galvanised wire, acting as an erosion prevention system in applications such as retaining walls, culvert protection, weirs and drop structures and more.

Drainage

Like our 70-50 mix, this finer grade of aggregate can also be used as a drainage medium on construction sites and other applications.
